Jeren Starr helps guide the finance and accounting functions at Braxton Development while managing bank and investor relationships. He is directly involved in investment analysis, project underwriting and debt procurement for hotel and multifamily projects across the country. He has a team-first approach and enjoys fostering an environment of creativity, hard work and respect.
Jeren joined Braxton Development in 2022 after a 11-year career in commercial lending for closely-held community banks. During his time in banking, Jeren was responsible for loan portfolio management, new customer acquisitions and driving shareholder profitability. He gained experience in a wide array of industries and credit types including hospitality, real estate development, construction and real estate investment projects.
Jeren attended Carroll College in Helena, Montana where he received his degree in Accounting. He is also a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School.
